Miguel Galván is a PhD student in Social Sciences at FLACSO Argentina. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Management from the Universidad de La Frontera (Chile) and a Political Scientist degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (México). His research interests focus on the study of Digital Citizenship practices and the Digitalization of Social Services. In particular, his doctoral thesis addresses the Digital Citizenship practices of university students in Chile from an approach of socio-digital inequalities. The thesis considers on the one hand the notion of digital divide, as well as the processes of technological appropriation of the participants.
